- Fresh Vegetables
- Rice Products (brown rice, rice cakes, rice crackers, etc)
- Whole Grains (buckwheat, quinoa, amaranth, millet)
- Beans (kidney, garbanzo, mung, lentils, yellow peas and green peas)
- Nuts and seeds (pumpkin, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, cashews, almonds)
- Oil (Olive is best)
- Healthy Beverages (8 glasses of water each day, green tea, herbal tea, rice milk, unsweetened fruit and vegetable juices, warm water and lemon)
- Condiments & Spices (sea salt, vinegar, herbs, spices, soy sauce, tamari)
Don'ts
- Sugar
- Dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese)
- Wheat (bread, pasta)
- Gluten (barley, rye)
- Coffee
- Alcohol
- Chocolate
- Processed or fatty foods (chips, candy and other junk foods)
- Meat
