Detox Signs

How do you know whether you need to detox your body? According to about.com, some signs that a Detox is right for you include:

  • You often feel tired, sluggish or lethargic
  • You have difficulty concentrating or staying focused
  • You catch colds easily
  • You suffer from regular bad breath
  • You tend to have a post-nasal drip, get stuffed up, or get congested
  • You experience unpleasant body odours when you don’t wear perfume or deodorant
  • You have bloating, indigestion or gas after eating
  • You usually have dark circles under your eyes
  • You have allergies
  • You have eczema, acne or psoriasis
  • You often go a day without having a bowel movement
  • You are a current or former smoker, or spend regular time around other smokers
  • You generally drink less than 3 cups of water daily
  • You eat meat 2 or more times daily
  • You generally feel bloated or puffy and want to sit in the dark
  • You eat fewer than 4 servings of vegetables and fruits each daily

 

The more of these signs that you exhibit or feel, the greater your need will be to detox.
